Report Impact Without Exaggerating It.
Keep activity, feedback and outcomes distinct.
Legacy North editorial draft · October 2026
Start with What You Can Verify
Report sessions delivered, places available and attendance from reliable records. Explain the period and method. Avoid counting the same participant repeatedly as different people without saying so.
Keep Different Kinds of Evidence Separate
A positive quote is feedback, not proof of a long-term outcome. A program delivered is an activity, not automatically a measured improvement in wellbeing. Say what you observed and what you have not measured.
Treat Stories as Someone’s Experience
Obtain approval for the final words and images, especially when young people are involved. Do not pressure participants to share difficult experiences to make a sponsor report more persuasive. A useful report can be honest about limits and still explain why the work matters.
Make It Useful.
Write your own next step. These notes stay in this page and are not saved or sent; print before leaving if you want to keep them.
