Emerging Coach
For people building their coaching experience who are ready to listen, prepare and contribute.
What You Would Do
- Support a Lead Coach with activities and skill development.
- Help athletes feel welcomed, included and encouraged.
- Learn to explain drills, give useful feedback and manage a group.
- Reflect on sessions and develop your own coaching practice.
What We Value
Reliability, curiosity, a willingness to learn and respect for every athlete. Share your experience helping others, even if you are new to formal coaching.
Lead Coach
For coaches ready to take responsibility for purposeful sessions and a positive athlete experience.
What You Would Do
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate basketball sessions.
- Adapt activities to different abilities and levels of confidence.
- Set clear expectations and communicate with families and the team.
- Support Emerging Coaches and model calm, constructive leadership.
