Build an Honest Athlete Introduction

Tell someone who you are without reducing yourself to statistics.

When to use it

Use for a program profile, coach conversation or introduction at a camp.

Put It into Practice

  1. Write your name, community and current basketball context. Include only information appropriate for the audience; a public profile does not need your home address.
  2. Add one thing you enjoy learning, one way you contribute to a team and a question about your next step. Be specific and truthful.
  3. Read it aloud and remove language that does not sound like you. Ask a trusted adult to review public details and photo permissions before anything is posted.

What It Can Look Like

“I am learning to organize our offence and enjoy helping new teammates” says more than a string of promotional labels.

Your notes stay on this page. They are not saved or sent. Print before leaving to keep a copy.

Take it with you: Your community, interests and contribution belong in your story.
