Make a Plan for a New Gym

Arrive somewhere unfamiliar with a few things already sorted.

When to use it

Use before a first away game, camp or community session.

Put It into Practice

  1. Confirm the entrance, start time and who will greet your group. If something is unclear, ask the organizer instead of guessing from an old event post.
  2. At arrival, identify the coach, washrooms, water access and where your belongings belong. Ask about any venue rules that differ from your usual gym.
  3. Introduce yourself to one person and ask where to join the warm-up. Give yourself permission to ask basic questions rather than pretending you know the routine.

What It Can Look Like

A player asks whether the side entrance is open and discovers the team meets at the main doors.

Your notes stay on this page. They are not saved or sent. Print before leaving to keep a copy.

Take it with you: Being prepared includes asking for information, not knowing everything already.
