Set Expectations with Your Ride
Make transport a clear plan rather than a last-minute assumption.
When to use it
Use when travelling from a smaller community or sharing rides with family.
Put It into Practice
- With your parent or guardian, confirm who is driving, departure time, pickup location and how changes will be communicated. Follow your program’s transport policies.
- Share only the details each person needs. Do not put a home address or a child’s travel schedule in a public team post.
- Plan what to do if a ride is late or cancelled. Stay with the supervised program contact until an approved pickup arrangement is confirmed.
What It Can Look Like
A family writes the approved pickup point on its calendar instead of assuming the usual school door.
Your notes stay on this page. They are not saved or sent. Print before leaving to keep a copy.
Take it with you: Reliable transport helps participation. Ask for support early when access is difficult.
