Turn a College Visit into Useful Questions

Learn about the whole student experience during a visit.

When to use it

Use when a supervised college visit or conversation becomes available.

Put It into Practice

  1. Prepare questions about classes, academic support, daily schedules, housing, transport and costs as well as basketball. Involve your family or school advisor.
  2. Ask who can answer each question accurately. A player’s experience is useful context, but admissions and financial details need confirmation from the relevant office.
  3. After the visit, record what you learned and what remains uncertain. Avoid treating a friendly conversation as an admission, funding or roster offer.

What It Can Look Like

An athlete asks how practice fits around classes and then contacts admissions about application requirements.

Your notes stay on this page. They are not saved or sent. Print before leaving to keep a copy.

Take it with you: A pathway includes education, everyday life and support, not just a court.
