Collect More than Your Best Highlights
Build a learning collection that shows decisions and growth.
When to use it
Use when reviewing your own approved footage or preparing a development conversation.
Put It into Practice
- Select a small number of clips with permission: something effective, something confusing and something you are working on. Respect other people’s privacy.
- For each clip, note the situation and a question. Avoid editing footage in ways that misrepresent the play or using a teammate’s mistake to make yourself look better.
- Review the collection with your coach and choose one practice focus. Keep public recruiting material and private learning footage separate according to program rules.
What It Can Look Like
A player brings a good spacing decision and a confusing possession to the same review.
Your notes stay on this page. They are not saved or sent. Print before leaving to keep a copy.
Take it with you: A learning collection should help you improve, not only help you look accomplished.
